# Collecting Responses {#collecting-responses}

MQUAD provides multiple ways to capture survey data, supporting both online web-based collection and offline field data collection.

## Data Collection Modes {#data-collection-modes}

### Web Link {#web-link}
Every published survey generates a unique URL that can be shared with respondents.
1. Navigate to the **Surveys** list.
2. Select a published survey.
3. Use the **Copy Link** feature in the survey overview to share the form link.

Respondents can fill the form in any modern web browser. If **Anonymous Submissions** is disabled, they will be prompted to log in before starting.

### ODK Offline Collection {#odk-offline-collection}
For remote field work without internet connectivity, MQUAD integrates with the **ODK Collect** standard.
1. Install **ODK Collect** on an Android device.
2. Configure the server settings to point to your MQUAD instance using the **ODK Bridge** credentials.
3. Use the **Get Blank Form** option in ODK Collect to download your surveys.
4. Field staff can collect data offline and upload finalized forms when they reach connectivity.

### Web Form Fill (Internal) {#web-form-fill-internal}
Logged-in users can fill surveys directly from the **Forms** page within the MQUAD portal. This is useful for manual data entry or internal reporting.

## Monitoring Progress {#monitoring-progress}

Monitor the status of your collection in real-time from the **Surveys** dashboard:
- **Total Responses**: Total count of successfully submitted and processed responses.
- **Last Submission**: Timestamp of the most recent activity.
- **Status**: Visual indicator of whether the survey is active or archived.

## Draft Management {#draft-management}
MQUAD automatically saves in-progress submissions. Users can find their partially completed forms under **Forms > Drafts** and resume them from any device.
